  Assist in the seasonal erection of post-frame (pole) buildings for agricultural, commercial, and residential customers. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and building layouts. Measure, mark, cut, and fasten wood, engineered wood products, and other building materials according to project specifications. Set posts, install columns, girts, purlins, trusses, rafters, joists, and framing members for post-frame buildings. Construct, erect, install, and repair structural frameworks and carpentry components using hand and power tools. Install wall and roof sheathing, metal siding, metal roofing, trim, soffit, fascia, weather barriers, windows, entry doors, overhead doors, and other finish carpentry components. Verify alignment, dimensions, and structural integrity using levels, squares, lasers, and measuring devices. Load, unload, move, and organize building materials and carpentry equipment at job sites. Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and other equipment commonly used in carpentry. Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow all company safety policies and OSHA safety requirements. Work as part of a construction crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
