***RFI Response*** The employee may operate a company vehicle under 8,000 lbs with fewer than 15 passengers; no specific SUV, van, or truck type is designated. Vehicles or utility vehicles are used within the resort property to transport linen, terry items (e.g., towels, washcloths, bath mats), and basic housekeeping supplies such as vacuums, mops, brooms, and cleaning materials. All transportation occurs within the employer’s resort campus. Employees may occasionally transport coworkers to or from optional employer-provided housing, if properly licensed and approved under company policy. Housekeeping duties include making guest deliveries such as towels, toiletries, linens, and kitchen items directly to occupied units; these deliveries do not require motorized vehicles. Furniture movement is limited to temporary repositioning of standard in-room items (e.g., beds, chairs, tables) as part of routine cleaning, using equipment such as dollies and back support belts when needed. This does not involve renovation or refurbishment work. Service checks on lint traps and vents refer to standard guest room appliances (in-unit washers/dryers and HVAC vents), not commercial laundry facilities. ***Original F.a.2*** Temporary Housekeeping Service Attendants will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at client properties, which includes but is not limited to vacuuming floors, dusting, laundering and replenishing linens and towels, removing trash from units, stripping units of soiled linen, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, reporting lost and found items to Management, assisting in maintaining storage closets, performing weekly service checks, emptying trash, lint traps, and vents. Occasional use of company utility vehicle or company automobile weighing no more than 8,000 lbs. and holds less than 15 passengers to assist with transporting tools and other necessary items within the worksite location in order to perform duties. Other duties as assigned which are related to general functions of housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities which include, walk all assigned buildings or floors to ensure all are free of linen, trash or equipment. Move furniture as directed, make guest deliveries as directed. Assist in linen inventories which includes sorting and cleaning of dirty linen/terry. Fold or iron clean linen/terry and deliver linen/terry supply bags to units.
