***RFI response*** “Assisting with dining room setup and cleanup” Before meals, servers will set up dining and serving areas, arranging tables and chairs, placing table settings and centerpieces, and stocking buffet and beverage stations. During and after service, clear tables, wipe down surfaces, manage trash and linens, restock supplies, and return clean dishware and utensils to their storage locations. Uses standard dining/serving equipment such as tables, carts, glassware, and linens. “Support plantation events, hunting party serving duties, corporate retreats, weddings, and private dinners” Prepare the assigned dining, buffet, reception, or beverage-service area by arranging tables and chairs, placing linens, table settings, menus, and decorations, and setting up buffet, beverage, and coffee stations. Carry prepared food and beverages from the kitchen to guests, serve plated meals, buffet items, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and nonalcoholic beverages, and refill drinks throughout service. Clear used items between courses, monitor tables for routine guest needs, and relay guest requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen or supervisory staff. Maintain cleanliness of the service area and break down and clean the space after the event. Uses standard food-service equipment such as trays, carts, glassware, flatware, beverage dispensers, and linens. ***Original*** The Plantation Server is responsible for providing professional, friendly, and attentive meal service to guests at a private plantation, lodge, hunting preserve, or event facility. This role helps create a welcoming Southern hospitality experience by serving meals, assisting with dining room setup and cleanup, supporting events, and ensuring guests receive excellent service during their stay. The server will greet guests warmly and provide courteous, professional service. Set tables for breakfast, lunch, dinner, private events, and special functions. Serve food and beverages in a timely and polished manner. Clear plates, glassware, and utensils after each course or meal. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, serving areas, kitchen support areas, and guest spaces. Assist with buffet table setup, beverage stations, hors d’oeuvres, and event service. Refill drinks, monitor guest needs, and respond promptly to requests, communicate with kitchen staff regarding guest preferences, allergies, timing, and service needs. Help prepare the lodge or dining area before guest arrivals. Assist with dishwashing, polishing silverware, replenishing kitchen supplies, and general cleanup as needed. Support plantation events, hunting party serving duties, corporate retreats, weddings, and private dinners. Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding guests and plantation operations.
