  *2 RFI r* Mobile amusement equipment is designed to assembled and disassembled with manual labor and simple tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets, a variety of wrenches and ratchets. The equipment has built-in hydraulics to raise and lower awnings, arms & platforms. Additional equipment is not required. Operation is opening the entry gate, instructing patrons on safety procedures, ensuring that their safety harnesses are in place, pushing the button to start the timed ride, and then ensuring that the patrons exit the ride prior to the next group enters. Food Concessions involve taking customer order, taking customer payment, preparing the food items as detailed earlier, providing the customer with the payment. Game Concessions involve explaining the games rules to the patron, taking the payment, providing change, and starting the game. Cleaning Rides, Booths, Facilities or Grounds. Sweep, hose down, wash, pick up trash. Perform Minor Repairs. Replace defective or worn parts such as light bulbs, switches, belts, hoses & belts. Workers may use the following tools, equipment, and materials while performing assigned duties: Wrenches, Socket and ratchet sets, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, measuring tape, adjustable wrenches. They will use ladders, vacuums and cleaning equipment and supplies, such as sponges, rags and soap. *1 RFI r* Specific Refreshments to be prepared and served to patrons, tasks the worker will perform, tools, equipment, and materials used to perform the tasks: Fountain Drinks: At the start of the shift, worker would open bags of ice (typically 10 to 20 pounds, ice cubed) into both the reservoir on the top of the dispenser and into the ice bin. When an order comes in worker would prepare the proper size, flavor drink and place a plastic lid on the cup. Worker would place the drink into the serving area so that another worker, with direct contact with the patron, is able to provide the drink(s) to the patron, along with the balance of the order. Popcorn: The popcorn machine is fixed on the counter. Worker would switch it on, scoop popcorn oil out of the container, using a measuring cup and pour it into the heating element. Worker would then scoop popcorn kernels out of the container, using a measuring cup and pour the kernels into he heating element. Worker would then scoop popcorn flavoring "Flavacol" from the container, using a measuring scoop and sprinkle this on the kernels. Worker would close the lid on the heating element, the popcorn would start popping, the lid would open due to the force of the popcorn, and the popped popcorn would fall into the bin. Worker would sprinkle the popcorn with additional flavoring, which would be in a shaker (like a saltshaker). Scoop the popcorn into individual popcorn boxes and place them onto the counter under a heat lamp. Another worker, when the popcorn was ordered by a patron, would take a container and then use the pumper to pump melted butter and/or shakers to sprinkle additional flavoring(s) onto the popcorn and then hand to the patron. Workers will not be preparing any food items from "scratch". *Or* Perform a variety of duties at traveling carnival, assembling, disassembling & operating equipment (amusement rides, game and/or food concessions) May sell tickets & collect fees from customers; provide information about the facilities, rules and regulations; direct patrons to rides, seats or attractions; monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures; provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides; clean rides, booths, facilities or grounds; inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts; fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices; announce or describe amusement attractions to patrons to entice customers to games and/or other entertainment; and sell and serve refreshments to customers.
