**RFI** Assisting in the set up of the dining room, buffet lines, and events consist of re-arranging the layout of the dining and event area by moving tables and chairs, setting tables with appropriate table cloths, plates, chargers, silverware and glassware, polishing the silverware and glassware, lighting sterno equipment, filling chafers with water, filling buckets of ice, assisting with decorating the room for themed events, properly placing food description place cards within the buffet, and transporting food and drinks from the kitchen to the designated station within the buffet. The breakdown includes cleaning equipment such as sternos and chafers and putting them back into storage areas, putting the tables and chairs back into the original layout of the dining space and putting dishes, glassware, silverware, tablecloths into the storage sheds, closets, and shelves in the kitchen for thorough cleaning. Servers will assist with taking down any event themed decorations that were put up for events such as streamers. **Original** Servers will be responsible for greeting customers, setting up tables in the dining area with tableware such as plates, glasses, and silverware, taking and placing orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, and cleaning and clearing tables. Attend and participate in the daily line-up meeting to receive instructions regarding the menu, service stations, and become familiar with nightly "features" including their ingredients, cooking style, and abbreviations. Maintain knowledge of all menus for all dining rooms and events to make appropriate recommendations and answer questions regarding allergies and diets. Maintain communication with chefs by informing them of the status of tables served or fired. Assist in the set up and breakdown of dining room, buffet lines, and events. Conduct proper inventory within the serving stations to include cups, saucers, tea, coffee, lemons, cream and more as outlined by operational policy. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am to 5:00pm or 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
