Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in ensuring smooth operations of the Club’s dining rooms, banquet rooms, bars, and other Food & Beverage outlets. Will assist in facilitating training by providing input, planning lessons, and teaching the applicable topics; motivating team members to stay current with knowledge of menus and beverages; and ensuring member satisfaction by visiting each table in the dining room, ensuring that service, food, and beverages are exemplary, and rectifying any complaints or other challenges. Will assist in overseeing the setup and breakdown of dining and banquet areas, which includes ensuring that tables, chairs, table settings, and décor are arranged according to designated floor plans and specifications. Will assist in inventory tracking and ordering of dry goods, cleaning supplies, bar and beverage items, linens, flowers, and decor. Will communicate any repair needs, programming ideas, or member or fiscal challenges to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. Will perform daily line-ups, which includes ensuring table settings, team uniforms, and the general condition of the dining areas are up to standards. Will assign stations and duties to the serving team members, including assigning side work (i.e., routine cleaning, restocking, and prep tasks done between food service duties) and ensuring team members perform weekly dining room cleaning. Will ensure all that closing responsibilities are completed, which includes end of shift reports, end of day calculations, tip pool calculations, and approving payroll at the end of the shift. Will be required to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time. Will assist Director and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage by providing first-line supervision of up to fourteen (14) Servers and six (6) Bartenders. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
