  Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods with short preparation time in a casual, local chain restaurant andsports bar. Prepare quick and simple recipes such as chicken tenders, chicken wings, and classic American pubfood like spinach dip and mini quesadillas. Perform food preparation tasks such as simple assembly of preppedand partially cooked ingredients to create sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, and sweet desserts, finishingthem quickly on the grill or in the oven when ordered. Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatureby regulating fast ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Use standard commercial kitchen equipment, relyingheavily on deep fryers for the famous chicken wings and tenders, along with custom sauce-making equipmentfor house-made sauces and spices to speed up cooking. Ensure freshness of foods and ingredients by checkingfor quality, keeping track of old and new items and rotating stock. Clean food preparation equipment withinthe kitchen such as ovens, grills, and deep fryers, using soap, degreaser, and scrubbing pads. Clean kitchenwork areas such as kitchen counters and tables using surface cleaners, cleaning brushes and sanitizers.
