***RFI response*** The workers will operate mechanized landscaping and irrigation equipment to transport, distribute, and install materials used in golf course renovation, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Specific tasks for which the equipment will be used include moving and placing sod, sand gravel, greens mix, irrigation materials, sprinklers components, and other landscaping supplies; preparing landscaped areas for irrigation installation; assisting with irrigation system installation; and maintaining golf course grounds and playing surfaces. The workers will use hand tools and power tools commonly utilized in landscaping and groundskeeping activities, including shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, tampers, sod knives, string trimmers, and irrigation installation tools. The workers may also operate the following equipment for the purpose of removing turf and preparing the ground for new sod installation and distributing landscaping materials throughout the property: Kubota RTV-X1140WL-A utility vehicle (25HP; operating weight 2,380-2,390 lbs.; payload capacity 1,600 lbs.) used to transport landscaping materials, irrigation supplies, tools, and equipment throughout the golf course; Kubota MX5200 tractor with Gearmore trailer (55 HP; operating weight 6,800 lbs.) used to transport and distribute sand, greens mix, gravel, sod, and other landscaping materials; Billy Goat SC182HCA sod cutter (5.5 HP; operating weight 395 lbs.) used to remove existing turf in preparation for sod installation and landscape improvements; and Multiquip MTX60HD Mikasa Rammer with Honda GX100 engine (2.8 HP; operating weight 141 lbs.) used to compact soil and backfill around irrigation installations and landscaped areas. ***Original*** Hands on manual labor at golf course construction sites, working on staking/layout, drainage, bunkers, finishing, greens and tees, operating equipment, etc.; informs crews of the day's planned activities and equips crews with necessary tools and materials; instructs, supervises, and trains crews in assigned tasks, such as irrigation installation, tee and bunker creation, sodding, seeding, staking/flagging, operating and maintaining equipment; manages inventory of equipment, supplies and materials, and fuel; identifies and eliminates potential waste that may occur during performance of assigned tasks, including material waste such as irrigation heads, irrigation pipe and wire, gravel and greens mix; ensures assigned equipment and tools are properly maintained through performance of routine preventative maintenance; assists in maintaining project records such as delivery tickets, purchase orders, safety meeting rosters; assists in creating as-built drawings; and reports potential problems to the Project Superintendent.
