Duties: Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed. Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary. Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist servers by running plated food from the kitchen to the guest’s table in a timely and organized manner. Ensure that each guest receives the correct dish, as ordered, and that food is presented neatly. Communicate with the kitchen and servers to coordinate timing of food delivery. Provide guests with additional items upon request, such as condiments, utensils, napkins, or drink refills, to enhance satisfaction. Monitor guest tables to anticipate needs, such as removing used dishes between courses or replenishing water glasses. Assist with guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, or promptly direct them to a server if further assistance is needed. Support the server in ensuring all components of the meal (appetizers, main courses, side items, drinks) are delivered smoothly and without delays. Help pace the service so guests do not experience rushed or prolonged waits between courses. Proactively maintain a clean and orderly dining environment by promptly removing used dishes and keeping service areas neat. Coordinate with the server and kitchen to ensure timely removal and replacement of soiled plates, minimizing disruption to the guest experience. Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning. Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking side stands. Requirements: Three (3) months of bussing experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required. On-the-job training is provided. Pre-employment Criminal Background Check is required. Rate of Pay: Wage: Tipped position with wage of $8.00 - $10.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Employer guarantees hourly rate will not fall below prevailing wage of $17.91 per hour. Overtime is available at $26.87 per hour. Employee may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of holiday pay of up to $500.00. Eligible for company subsidized housing. Shifts: Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7am - 2pm, 9am - 4pm, or 4pm- 11am. Shift hours may vary.
