***RFI response*** The facilities described in Item F.a.2. is a manufacturing warehouse where the Production helpers will perform the job duties. Production helpers are in charge of supplying, carrying, or holding materials and tools for the production and cleaning of the work area. Specific tasks include: loading and unloading raw magnesium, or metal stock materials and finished products from machines and conveyors; placing products on work surfaces for further processing or inspection; removing finished products and waste material from machines; packing and storing finished magnesium extrusions, die cast components; counting finished products for order fulfillment; cleaning and lubricating equipment; and washing work areas and machinery. Tools and equipment used include hoists, wrenches, cleaning equipment (such as brooms, mops, buckets, rags, etc.), shelf utility carts for transportation, and basic hand tools (including label gun, scissors, and office supplies to identify boxes). For objects exceeding 50 lbs, workers use forklifts and hooks provided by the employer. Workers will operate forklifts as needed to transport raw magnesium materials and finished products between storage and production areas. Production helpers will also assist operators by loading raw magnesium billets into extrusion presses and die casting machines, removing finished parts, and clearing waste or defective material for reprocessing. Helpers will monitor equipment during operation and notify operators of any visible malfunctions.
