  ***RFI response*** Work is performed at a private membership club in indoor dining rooms, bar/lounge areas, poolside and beach service areas, and banquet/event spaces. Food and beverage orders are taken and delivered in all such locations using handheld pads and POS systems. “Service equipment” includes serving trays, water pitchers, condiment caddies, bus tubs, towel bins, portable beverage coolers, and menus/menu stands. Maintenance tasks include wiping and sanitizing equipment with cleaning cloths and food-safe sanitizer, restocking towels and menus, replenishing ice, organizing stations, and collecting used dishes, glasses, and towels. Event duties include setup, service, and breakdown for meetings, banquets, social events, and private functions in dining rooms, banquet rooms, poolside, and beach areas. Tasks include positioning tables and chairs, laying tablecloths, setting place settings, arranging decor, stocking buffet and beverage stations, taking orders, serving food and beverages, running food, refilling drinks, clearing courses, breaking down setups, transporting items using rolling carts or golf carts, and cleaning surfaces. ***Original*** Provide professional, courteous, and timely food and beverage services to members and guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Greet guests warmly and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times Focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment Thoroughly learn and follow restaurant, beach, and pool service standards and procedures. Set up the beach with chairs, umbrellas, and towels, and ensure that guests are always provided with clean towels. Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware. Possess detailed knowledge of food menus, beverage menus, daily specials, promotions, garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods. Answer guest questions regarding menu items in an informative and helpful manner. Take food and beverage orders from the members on handheld or order-taking pads and deliver food to members and guests. Accurately enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and verify order transmission with the kitchen or bar Know about coffee/tea service, beverage lists, promotions, all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods. Set up and maintain beach and pool service stations, including chairs, umbrellas, towels, and service equipment Ensure guests are always provided with clean towels and properly arranged seating Assist with running food and beverage orders for assigned tables and other service staff Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages. Run food and drink orders for their tables and other staff members. Operate a golf cart to transport supplies and equipment such as chairs, tables, linens, towels, and décor for beach, poolside, or special events Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for food and beverage events and private functions Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety policies Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area throughout service
