***RFI response*** Worker operates equipment in a training capacity as needed to ensure other team members are properly instructed on the use of the equipment. Worker will not operate equipment in a day-to-day production capacity and will operate equipment as needed to support the project – less than 50% of the day, if needed. All equipment operation will be done onsite on the project, so no commercial driver license is needed. Any trenching associated with the project is expected to involve trenches approximately 26 to 48 inches in depth and 12 to 72 inches in width at their widest points. Equivalent equipment models may be utilized based on availability. Equipment that may be used may include: 75–95 HP trenchers, such as the Ditch Witch RT75 or Vermeer RTX750, for digging and backfilling irrigation trenches for mainline pipe installation (4 in. to 10 in. pipe sizes); 75–95 HP plows, such as Ditch Witch RT75 or Vermeer RTX750, for vibratory plowing for irrigation lateral lines and wires at depths of approximately 18 to 24 in.; 10,000-24,000 lb. excavators, such as John Deere 120 and Caterpillar 306 mini-excavator, for digging and backfilling trenches to install drainage and irrigation pipes throughout the golf course; 2,800–3,200 lb. skid steers, such as Caterpillar 265 for moving and loading material, backfilling trenches, and loading gravel and bunker sand into Pronovost trailer; Wacker Neuson 3001 dumper for hauling spoils and supplies like gravel and sand; 2–3 ton smooth double-drum rollers, such as Dynapac CC1200 or Wacker Neuson for trench compaction or plow line leveling; 50-80 HP tractor and dump trailers, such as John Deere 4066M and/or John Deere 5077, for moving material within the worksite and pulling implements offroad within the worksite; 2-4 or 4-6 person UTV, such as Kubota RTV-X1140, for transporting crew and supplies; and Forklift/telehandler, such as 8K model JLG, for loading and offloading pipe and other materials. ***Original*** Hands on manual labor working on staking/layout, drainage, bunkers, finishing, greens and tees, operating equipment, etc.; informs crews of the day's planned activities and equips crews with necessary tools and materials; instructs, supervises, and trains crews in assigned tasks, such as irrigation installation, tee and bunker creation, sodding, seeding, staking/flagging, operating and maintaining equipment; manages inventory of equipment, supplies and materials, and fuel; identifies and eliminates potential waste that may occur during performance of assigned tasks, including material waste such as irrigation heads, irrigation pipe and wire, gravel and greens mix; ensures assigned equipment and tools are properly maintained through performance of routine preventative maintenance; assists in maintaining project records such as delivery tickets, purchase orders, safety meeting rosters; assists in creating as-built drawings; and reports potential problems to the Project Superintendent. Optional company housing will be provided free of charge for employees outside of commuting distance. Employees who do not require or use company housing will receive a housing reimbursement of $231.00 per pay period.
