Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Food & Beverage outlets on a daily basis. Ensures cleanliness of dining areas and entrances are consistent with service standards. This includes wiping tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths. Scraping and stacking dirty dishes and carrying dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants and mop or vacuum floors. Cleaning up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash. Performs all general front of house duties as well including: setting tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies; maintaining adequate supplies of items, such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays; filling beverage or ice dispensers; and stocking cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers. Clean and set tables. Carry, scrape and stack dirty dishes. Restock clean dishes, silverware and linens. Serve food and drink to customers in the restaurant dining room areas as instructed by management or wait staff. This position does not take food or drink orders. Maintain and clean kitchen area, front counter, equipment and utensils. Prepare sandwiches, salads and desert items by hand which includes pulling premade items from the refrigerator and putting them on plates for service to customers. Take orders and accept payment from customers at the counter area of the restaurant near the cash register. Lift approximately 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
