***RFI Response*** Additional detail regarding assisting skilled trades: Workers will assist skilled trades by cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, materials, and work areas; loading, unloading, carrying, and moving construction materials such as lumber, plywood, concrete forms, pipe, fittings, fasteners, pallets, and other construction supplies; setting up and removing temporary barriers, signage, and site protection materials; assisting with site preparation by clearing debris, removing hazards, organizing materials, and maintaining safe access to work areas; and supporting construction crews with basic labor tasks such as holding, positioning, and staging materials and tools. Workers will use basic hand and power tools including shovels, rakes, brooms, wheelbarrows, hand trucks, dollies, hammers, tape measures, utility knives, drills, and similar tools to perform assigned duties. Workers may assist with loading and unloading materials and performing general cleanup and debris removal to maintain safe and orderly job sites. All duties are performed under direct supervision and are labor-related, requiring no specialized skills, certification, or licensing. ***Original Duties*** Perform general labor tasks at construction sites during winter conditions to support ongoing projects. Duties include site preparation and cleanup, removing debris, loading and unloading materials, and assisting skilled trades as needed. Perform snow and ice removal to maintain safe and accessible work areas, including clearing walkways, work zones, and equipment paths. Use hand and power tools to assist with basic construction, demolition, and material handling tasks. Follow all safety protocols related to cold weather conditions, including proper handling of equipment and materials in freezing temperatures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
