- Offer description:
***RFI Response*** Workers handle event rental items and supplies including dishes, glasses, table linens, portable chairs and tables, and portable food-service supplies. Workers are assigned customer event rental orders, placement, arrangement, and later removal and reloading of rental items at customer event locations. Workers prepare event rental items for customer deliveries, including dishes, glasses, table linens, portable dance floor sections, and portable chairs and tables. The same workers also place rental items onto delivery vehicles and remove them at company storage facility. Workers utilize manual equipment including two-wheel hand trucks, four-wheel furniture carts, flat utility carts, and similar wheeled carts for moving event rental items. This duty does not apply to our operations. Workers do not handle industrial spouts, conveyor systems, bulk materials, bins, or similar receptacles associated with freight, manufacturing, or warehouse distribution operations. "Direct spouts" is a typo and should say "Deliver freights" by manually handling, placing, removing and returning of temporary event rental items and supplies at customer locale. Workers may manually carry and position event rental items at customer event locations where wheeled carts or dollies cannot be used. Workers do not operate motorized equipment at customer event sites. Workers will not use forklifts. This responsibility involves cleaning, repackaging, organizing, and returning event rental items to their designated storage locations after customer use so that the items remain protected and available for future rentals. Workers do not perform mechanical repair, servicing, or maintenance of equipment or machinery. ***Original F.a.2*** May include, but not limited to: -Move event rental items (cargo), or other materials, to and from storage or event locations. -Sort cargo before loading and unloading. -Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. -Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. -Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. -Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. -Direct spouts and position receptacles, such as bins, carts, or containers, so they can be loaded. -Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads. -Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
