The employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform the job at no cost to the worker. In order to perform the tasks the worker will utilize essential tools such as but not limited to: Pine straw rake, pitchfork, shovel, leaf blowers, box baler, bailing twine, work gloves, eye and hearing protection, sturdy work boots. The workers will obtain the pine straw from pine fields. The workers activities every year, along the employment period are remove grass, shrubs, cones, and other debris from the baling rows. Every fifth or sixth row can be used as a debris row to keep the baling rows cleared. The workers will then rake pine needles by hand into windrows in the center of the baling rows. They need to be sure to exclude insects, weeds, and debris from the pine straw windrows to ensure high-quality straw to the customers that requested the product.
