Workers may be asked to cut anything voluntarily growing in a landscape bed that can also be removed from the ground. Equipment used may be (but not limited to) the following: bypass lopper, gas powered hitch pruners, wheel barrows, tractors (Bobcat MT100), mini stand on skid steer, chippers used to grind debris removed from landscape beds, Ford F250 trucks, or hand pump sprayers. Workers may be asked to use the following equipment: bypass lopper, gas powered hitch pruners, wheel barrows, tractors (Bobcat MT100), mini stand on skid steer, chippers used to grind debris removed from landscape beds, Ford F250 trucks, hand pump sprayers, etc. Workers will not handle or mix any pesticides or chemicals. Supervisors handle cutting down the trees. Workers may be asked to gather equipment and would hand said equipment to the supervisor from ground level. Debris will be loaded by hand onto trucks (consistent with a Ford F250) hauling utility trailers. Work takes place on residential or commercial lawns. The job in question does not fall in line with any forestry work. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: prune, gather/remove litter/debris, haul debris, cut down small trees and saplings, spread straw/topsoil. Operate shredding and chipping equipment, and feed limbs and brush into the machines. Operate loaders, brush chippers, tractors, power saws, trucks, sprayers and other equipment and tools. Hoist tools and equipment to tree trimmers, and lower branches to the ground. Load debris and refuse onto trucks and haul it away for disposal. Load truck with needed products and equipment. Fall property maintenance such as rake/blow leaves; pull/chop weeds; prune, mulch. Maintain/clean tools, equipment & work sites. These workers are laborers, they are not tree trimmers or arborists.
