Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul small engines used to power lawn mowers, plows, throwers, chain saws, and other related landscaping equipment. All other job duties related to the Outdoor Power Equipment and Other Small Engine Mechanics position pursuant to 49-3053. May perform other job duties pursuant to 49-3053, Outdoor Power Equipment and Other Small Engine Mechanics. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35 hours/week. 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Fri. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. F.b.9: H-2B workers are eligible for the following benefits: 401(k) plan with company match; Medical insurance; Dental insurance; Vision insurance; FSA/HSA; PerkSpot; Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance; Paid time Off; Tuition Reimbursement (after one year of service). Effective January 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. F.d.4: Workers who are not able to return to their residence within the workday have the option of employer-provided housing for $600-800 per month, and if elected, employer will deduct costs from worker’s paycheck. Workers also have the option of securing their own lodging.
