***RFI response*** Pastry Cooks perform their tasks within an area designated for baking in a restaurant-style kitchen located on the Petitioner’s property. In addition to making pastries for the Petitioner’s restaurant-style dining areas, Pastry Cooks will be making pastries for banquets, private member events, and the Beach Club. ***Original*** Pastry Cooks will be responsible for preparing pastries, breads, desserts, and pastry banquet items according to recipes and standards. Will support pastry banquet and à la carte pastry production, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Assist with decorative pastry work, including chocolate, sugar, and plating presentations. Must maintain accurate production records and follow established recipes and methods. Properly store, label, and rotate food items to ensure freshness and compliance. Maintain professional appearance, uniform standards, and personal hygiene. Able to lift 25lbs or more and work under variable temperatures. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am to 1:00pm, 8:00am to 4:00pm, or 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
