***RFI response*** “Preparing treatment rooms before and after services” – this consists of preparing tables with linens and face cradle covers, preparing the spa room with correct room temperature, music, aromatherapy, skin products, towels, and disposable supplies, disposing of and restocking used supplies (gloves, wipes, applicators) after treatment, disinfecting surfaces and equipment, and reporting low inventory supplies to supervisors. Tools, equipment, and materials used are disinfecting sprays/wipes, gloves, towel warming cabinet, aromatherapy diffuser, music player, storage carts, and trash bins and lines. “Assisting spa therapists with set-up and breakdown of services” – this consists of stocking service trays with tools and products as directed by therapists, laying out tools in correct sequence for therapist use according to specific service being provided and providing supplies to therapists as requested during service, filing bowls or steamers with water, warming hot stones, laying out client amenities (robes, slippers, towels), ensuring specialty equipment (e.g., facial steamers, stone warmers, wax heaters) are powered and ready for use and emptying/cleaning them after service, and clearing, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking service area after service. Other than those described above, tools, equipment, and materials used are service trays and bowls, disinfecting sprays/wipes, gloves, Massage oils, creams, masks, serums, water pitchers and hydration supplies, and storage containers and organizers. “Maintaining relaxation areas and locker rooms” – this consists of sanitizing surfaces (including showers, sinks, and toilets), tidying seating areas (chairs, loungers, blankets), refilling aromatherapy diffusers with oils, restocking towels, robes, toiletries, and paper products, monitoring noise levels, removing used items and trash promptly, emptying trash and towel bins, refilling water stations, tea stations, or snack areas, mopping floors, and reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors. Other than those described above, tools, equipment, and materials used are cleaning supplies (multi-surface cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner), mops, brooms, buckets, microfiber cloths, vacuum, trash bags and bins, and laundry carts/bins, signage (e.g., “wet floor” signs), and storage cabinets and shelving. ***Original*** Spa Assistant will be responsible for supporting spa operations, including but not limited to: preparing treatment rooms before and after services; cleaning and sanitizing equipment, linens, and spa facilities; assisting spa therapists with set-up and breakdown of services; restocking towels, robes, oils, and treatment supplies; maintaining relaxation areas and locker rooms; providing courteous customer service; and ensuring compliance with cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
