***RFI response*** “Basic food preparation” – this consists of washing fruits and vegetables, retrieving ingredients from inventory and portioning them, and peeling fruits and vegetables. The tools/equipment used to perform these tasks are strainers, peelers, measuring cups, measuring spoons, scales, knives, forks, spoons, and bowls. ***Original*** Stewards will be responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition, sweeping and scrubbing floors, and sorting and removing trash. Stewards will also assist in basic food preparation as directed by the department chef. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 9:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
