***RFI response*** Housepersons will be responsible for operating a floor polishing machine in order to clean and polish hard floors throughout the property and operating a carpet cleaner in order to clean carpets throughout the property. They will maintain the machines by replacing polishing pads on the floor polishing machine, cleaning carpet cleaner after every use, and ensuring that all cords and hoses are in good condition and operating correctly. Housepersons will be responsible for assisting members and guests by helping them carry luggage during check-in and check-out. ***Original*** Housepersons will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor/outdoor areas at Jupiter Island Club’s property, which includes cleaning windows using a cloth and cleaning spray, cleaning bathrooms by wiping down sinks, cleaning toilets, sweeping & mopping floors, and restocking paper supplies, transporting housekeeping linens and supplies, and furniture as needed, operating and maintaining floor care equipment and delivering and setting up items in guest rooms and cottages. Housepersons are also responsible for assisting with member and guest check-ins and check-outs, and unloading and transporting guests’ luggage by hand or golf cart. During especially busy weeks during the season, the Houseperson will assist members entering and departing parking lots by directing them where they can and cannot park and making sure that members enter the parking lots going the correct direction in order to keep the flow of traffic moving and to elevate the member's experience and ensure member's safety. Houseperson will wear a safety vest while directing traffic in and out of parking. Housepersons may need to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm, and 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
