***RFI response*** The kinds of food the Food Service Workers will prepare consists of sandwiches, salads, and ice cream dishes. To prepare these food items, Food Service Workers will utilize standard kitchen equipment such as spoons, knives, slicers, stand mixers, stoves, ovens, and fryers. Food Service Workers will be making these food items both for individual orders as well as large batches used for grab and go stations. The specific task involved in taking customer payments consists of checking out guests at the cash register in the cafeteria. To complete this task, Food Service Workers will utilize the Point of Sale (POS) machine. In addition to taking customer payments, Food Service Workers can occasionally take food orders which is done behind the cafeteria line. The specific task involved in setting up dining room areas consists of moving and rearranging chairs and tables based on the needs of the dining outlet. There are no specific tools or equipment used to complete this duty. ***Original*** Food Service Workers will be responsible for serving food to customers, cooking food or preparing food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and ice cream dishes, using standard formulas or following directions, preparing and packaging food orders, taking customer payments, setting up and stocking preparation area, setting up dining room areas, including tables and chairs, and performing cleaning duties, including light vacuuming of work station area, washing dishes and items used in food preparation. Food service workers work in base lodges, restaurants, banquet events and mobile eaterys on Resort. Food Service Workers will also help to maintain the outdoor service areas, loading docks, building entrances and garbage disposal areas by removing snow and spreading sand/grit. Food Service Workers will also greet and engage with our guests while practicing our Hospitality Standards of being friendly and helpful in dining areas and on food lines. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
