*** RFI Response *** The Stewards will prep, move, and set up the warmers, chaffing dishes, utensils, stenos, stand-up warmers, cambros, etc., for functions within the property by hand, hand carts, or electric carts. The Stewards will break down the function space and clean the equipment used for the function (warmers, chafing dishes, utensils, Sterno burners, stand-up warmers, Cam bros, etc.) using dishwashing machines, pressure washers, burnishing machines, brooms, and mops. The Stewards will also clean equipment in restaurants and kitchens, such as food warmers, chill boxes, speed racks, grills, portable freezers, and gas burners, using handwashing, dishwashing machines, and pressure washers. The Stewards will, when needed, assist in replenishing the food lines in the property's ballroom, outdoor functions (i.e. Luau), and employee cafeteria. *** Original F.a.2 *** Clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment or utensils using dishwashers or by hand; maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition; place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas; sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick up areas; stock and transfer supplies to serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, storage and work areas; take out garbage; prepare and package individual place settings; assist in the plating and dishing out of food; take food and equipment from banquet storage spaces to various locations on property; clean kitchen cooking equipment and other equipment used in the stewarding department; assist with picking up dirty trays; set up banquet tables and assist with preparing meeting space as assigned; and, assist with cleanliness of hotel, picking up trash, sweeping and other cleaning duties as assigned.
