**RFI Response** The cleaning of restrooms are basic in nature, and incidental to a restaurant support staff worker. Specific duties involve wiping down counters that have too much water on it using paper towels, looking in the cupboards to check stock of toilet paper and putting toilet paper or paper towels in the dispensers if they are empty, and if the floor looks wet, wipe it with a dry mop in order to dry the surface for guest safety. Preparation of desserts is also basic in nature, and incidental to a restaurant support staff worker. Specific duties involve cutting the cakes into slices using a cake cutter and putting the slices on plates, as well as scooping pre-cooked desserts or ice cream into bowls using a spoon. **Original** Assist other restaurant workers by serving food and beverages to guests, or by bussing tables. Prepare condiments and tableware for tables and service, provide water to guests, polish silverware and glassware, prepare desserts and coffees. Set up tables, inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. Water flowers. Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies, and clean restrooms when necessary. Welcome patrons, seat them at tables or in lounge, and help ensure quality of facilities and service. Provide guests with menus.
