***RFI response*** Under supervision, worker will assist with directing, coordinating, monitoring, documenting activities, and motivating co-workers. Worker will coordinate with supervisor to determine work schedules and assign specific work locations. Worker will also check on workers/work progress throughout the day, complete daily field reports, help workers navigate the difficulties that can arise in the field, and assist in the handling of herbicides. Worker will be required to transport workers in company owned vehicles. They may also be required to transport job-specific materials, tools and/or equipment. ***Original*** Under supervision worker will assist with directing, coordinating, monitoring, documenting activities, motivating co-workers, and the handling of herbicides. Worker will be required to transport workers in company owned vehicles. E.A.4A is a typical number. Number may vary depending on manager being assisted. Work day will typically start between 6:00 and 7:00 in the morning and overtime will be required. Worker may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus based on a percentage of total compensation upon completing their seasonal obligation. Work and travel will be done on tracts of land varying in size from less than an acre to 1,000's of acres as governed by Forestry Special Procedures. Worker may at times use backpack sprayer and hand tools to apply herbicide to clear vegetation or debris from utility rights of way, rangelands, wildlife areas, roadsides, industrial sites, and other areas carrying up to 35 lbs. of equipment while walking on rough terrain. Duties will be performed in areas as determined by an itinerary in accordance with Forestry Rules [GAL I-97 H2B] [FR DOC.
