***RFI response*** Workers will assist with picking up products and supplies for the farm market. Duties include loading, unloading, moving, and stocking produce, flowers, plants, food products, and other goods sold by the farm market. Workers will travel to local farms, vendors, wholesalers, and businesses throughout the area of intended employment to pick up products and bring them back to the farm market for sale. Tools and equipment used may include pickup trucks, small cargo vans, hand trucks, carts, dollies, price tags, inventory sheets, storage bins, display baskets, produce crates, boxes, and shelving used to organize and stock products in the farm market. Workers may drive a Ford F-150 pickup or a Chevy Express Cargo Van to transport produce, flowers, plants, food products, locally made products, and other goods purchased from local farms, vendors, wholesalers, and businesses within the area of intended employment, back to the farm market. Workers may also transport produce crates, boxes, display baskets, storage bins, shelving, signs, and tables used in farm market operations. Workers will not transport passengers as a job duty. ***Original*** Employees will set up and break down produce displays and plant tables; stock fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, and other products; oversee fertilization and irrigation of the retail greenhouse; and build and maintain plant and product displays throughout the market and greenhouse. Workers will maintain cleanliness of market areas, walkways, greenhouse benches, and workspaces; assist with deliveries, including picking up orders and unloading shipments; and receive, store, and restock products and produce. Duties also include ordering products and produce, organizing retail greenhouse work areas, and maintaining knowledge of products. Employees will operate cash registers and credit card machines, accurately handle U.S. currency, and run registers at festival events and markets across multiple locations. Workers will attend various farmers markets and represent the company in a professional manner while selling produce and related products.
