Mountain Valley Stone, Inc produces varies stone products from the stone it quarries. Workers will assist Machine Operators by using production tools to help prepare stone for purposes of producing, moving, and trimming raw stone and finished stone products. Specific tasks include: Load pieces of stone onto a conveyor system, the conveyor will then move the stone under a guillotine, the worker will then push a button or pull a lever on the guillotine which will lower the thin and flat piece of metal with a tapered edge to produce the finished stone product, he conveyor belt will then move the stone to the end of the belt where another worker will unload the stone, inspect it, and place it in pallets for sale. Lift/carry product by hand. Count/stack/sort materials on pallets for packaging and shipping. Clean and maintain the work area. Entry Level; requires supervision. Workers will complete a training period covering jobsite duties and MSHA compliance requirements. Employees must follow all company safety standards and maintain compliance with workplace regulations. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are required.
