Perform physical tasks supporting logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations, including loading and unloading materials at warehouse staging areas, loading docks, crossdocking operations, and outdoor yard areas. Manually move and stage materials such as construction-related products, landscaping materials, machinery, tools, pallets, and other materials. Prepare and clean work areas, remove debris, organize storage and staging zones, and assist skilled workers by supplying materials, tools, and basic labor support. Use basic hand tools and power tools, specifically brooms, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, hand trucks, pallet jacks, drills, and handheld saws. Sort, stack, bundle, and prepare materials for use or shipment while maintaining clean, safe, and organized work environments. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, requires repetitive physical movements, and involves lifting or carrying heavy materials. • Hand tools and non-powered equipment: brooms, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other comparable non-powered or light-duty equipment used in warehouse and yard environments. • Basic power tools: drills and handheld saws. • Workers will not operate forklifts or machinery requiring certification. Loading and unloading activities occur within the company’s warehouse and yard areas, including: • Warehouse staging areas • Loading docks • Cross-docking operations • Outdoor yard areas where freight is received, prepared, or stored. These are the areas that support day-to-day inbound and outbound freight movement.
