***RFI Response*** Service Assistants will serve customer orders on trays from the kitchen window to customers’ seats or tables. Additionally, Service Assistants will answer any customer questions about food and drink items on the menu. Service Assistants will not be taking food or drink orders from customers at any point. ***Original F.a.2*** Service Assistants will be responsible for warmly greeting and acknowledging guests upon arrival aboard the train, serving customers’ orders from the kitchen window to the customer’s seat/table, answering any questions customers may have concerning menu items, polishing and rolling silverware used for service, serving beverages to customers, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining workstations throughout shift, cleaning and clearing seats/tables on board during, between, and after departures, and following all safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Service Assistants must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00AM-2:00PM, 12:00PM-7:00PM, or 2:00PM-9:00PM. Shift hours may vary.
