***RFI Response 2*** The kitchen is located within a convenience store, and the Seasonal Assistant (Kitchen) may occasionally need to provide customer service support, including cashier duties at the convenience store check-out, in addition to supporting the kitchen. ***RFI Response*** Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes; Weigh or measure ingredients, such as meats and liquids; Prepare fruit and vegetables for cooking; Cut meats, poultry, and seafood and prepare them for cooking; Mix ingredients for salads; Keep food in suitable containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage; Take and record the temperature of food and food storage areas; Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service. Will also stock/re-stock soda machines, tea brewers, and coffeemakers to prepare beverages for customers. Will utilize the fryer to cook include chicken products (tenders, wings, nuggets), potato items (French fries, tater tots, hash browns, and wedges), appetizers/snacks (mozzarella sticks, poppers, onion rings), grab and go items (corn dogs). Equipment to be used includes proofer, oven, grill top, bulk egg boiler, Conveyor Pizza Oven, Donut fryer. ***Original F.a.2*** Serve store customers by preparing to-go and onsite meals offered daily at the convenience store during peak employment and tourist season (non-winter months in northeastern North Dakota). At the direction of a manager, assistant will clean and organize eating, service, and kitchen areas. Assistant will also prepare daily food items, including fryer, sandwiches, salads, and soups, as well as other tasks. Will also be assigned to assist in convenience store, as seasonal demand requires.
