Job Dates 05/21/26-8/15/26. Load and unload household and office goods, cartons, and furniture to/from moving trucks and customer locations. Carry and move items up and down stairs and through buildings; lift, lower, push, pull, and reposition items by hand and with moving equipment. Wrap, pad, and protect furniture and fragile items using moving blankets, stretch wrap, tape, and packing materials. Assist with packing and unpacking cartons as assigned. Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture (e.g., bed frames, tables) using hand tools as needed. Stage items for safe transport, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures and team lead instructions. Utilize dollies/hand trucks, furniture straps, moving blankets, stretch wrap, tape, and basic hand tools. Work is performed at customer job sites throughout Dorchester, Charleston, and Berkeley counties. Full-time seasonal. 35 hours per week. Workdays: Monday-Saturday (schedule varies by customer move needs). Typical shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Employer will use a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Pay is weekly. All deductions required by law will be made. No fringe benefits are offered. Overtime (if available): Overtime may be available, but is not guaranteed. Overtime hours will be paid at one and one-half (1.5) times the worker's regular rate of pay, as required by law. On-the-Job Training: On-the-job training will be provided. Daily Transportation to Worksites (No Cost): Employer provides daily transportation at no cost to the worker from the reporting location to customer job sites and return (local travel within Dorchester, Charleston, and Berkeley counties)—reporting Location: 627 Old Trolley Rd, Suite D, Summerville, SC 29485. Tools, Supplies, Equipment: Employer will provide, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Visa and Related Fees: Employer will reimburse the worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees required by the government for obtaining the H-2B visa (not including passport costs). Inbound Transportation and Subsistence (Meals/Lodging While Traveling): Employer will provide, pay in advance, or reimburse the reasonable costs of transportation and daily subsistence (including lodging) from the place from which the worker has come to work to the place of employment if the worker completes 50% of the contract period. Return Transportation and Subsistence: Employer will provide or pay for return transportation and daily subsistence to the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer if the worker completes the period of employment or is dismissed early, as required. Daily Subsistence Rate: Daily subsistence while traveling will be provided/reimbursed at least $16.28 per day and up to $68.00 per day (with receipts), or the then-current rate published by DOL/OFLC at the time of travel. Housing: Employer does not provide housing. Workers are responsible forsecuring their own housing. (Employer will provide/reimburse lodging only as part of travel subsistence as required above.) Three-Fourths (3/4) Guarantee: Employer guarantees to offer employment for at least three-fourths (75%) of the workdays in each 6-week period (because the job opportunity is less than 120 days), as required. Equal Working Conditions: U.S. workers and H-2B workers will be offered the same wages and working conditions.
