Prepare, cook, and present meals for resort guests and staff in accordance with established menus, recipes, and quality standards. Maintain kitchen readiness, cleanliness, and safety throughout all meal periods. Duties include but are not limited to preparing the kitchen and workstation for daily service by organizing supplies, chopping vegetables, cutting meats, portioning ingredients, and pulling food items from walk-ins and storage areas. Start, preheat, and check cooking equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and warmers to ensure proper operation. Prepare and cook meals to order using a ticket system, following portion and presentation standards. Cook and assemble menu items including breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees, side dishes, salads, and desserts. Monitor food temperatures and ensure all meals are cooked and held at safe serving temperatures. Deliver prepared dishes to waitstaff or service windows promptly and accurately. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, cutting boards, and food-contact areas during and after each shift. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other equipment used in food preparation as needed.
