Workers will assist with the packing, preparation, and handling of household goods and materials associated with Abba Movers & Co.’s residential and commercial moving services during the company’s peak season. Duties include, but are not limited to, wrapping, packing, and preparing customers’ belongings, including fragile items, using packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and boxes; labeling, sorting, and organizing packed boxes for efficient staging and loading; repositioning and carrying lightweight items and small packed boxes (under 25 lbs) within the client home or staging area to support the moving team’s workflow; bringing packing supplies and materials, including boxes, tape, packing paper, pads, and related materials, to movers as needed; maintaining organization of packing and staging areas by breaking down empty boxes, removing packing debris, and restocking supplies; and assisting with general material handling and preparation tasks under the direction of a supervisor.
