***RFI Response*** In additional to natural grass, sports fields may use artificial turf that comes in rolled panels of synthetic fibers that must be seamed and connected. Our entry level laborers assist our experienced and specialized artificial turf laborer workforce by unrolling and holding artificial turf panels steady for the experienced laborers to seam and connect the panels. All seaming and connection tasks must be performed by the experienced turf laborers to ensure the field appears seamless and remains durable. ***Original F.a.2*** Perform specific tasks involving physical labor at installation sites as follows: prepare planting areas where natural grass needs to be repaired on job sites; clean up equipment and other related job site debris; assist technicians with gluing down numbers, hash marks, logos, and endzone letters; hold tape measure and assist with layout; hold panels during the sewing process. May operate hand and power tools of all types: leaf blowers, hand blowers, weed trimmers, generators, power washers, wheelbarrows, shovels, brooms, rakes, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Load and unload job materials from trucks and place them in designated areas of the job site at the direction of the supervisor and ready or put away tools as assigned. May assist other skilled workers. Entry level; requires supervision.
