***2nd RFI Response*** Issue 1: Camp Support Staff will make routine maintenance and minor repairs to cabins (doors, siding, gutters, air conditioning units, sinks/showers, cubbies, fix leaks) and maintain air conditioners, water dispensers, water testing, and pool maintenance (filter cleaning). Camp Support Staff will use wood, hammers, drills, screws and nails, water testing kits, plastic siding, wood glue, circular saws, and tape measures in the repair and maintenance of sinks, showers, doors, siding, cubbies, air-conditioners, water dispensers. Issue 2: Camp Support Staff will assemble cubbies from a pre-made build kit consisting of wood, screws, and wood glue using drills, wood, wood glue, and screws. Issue 3: Camp Support Staff will assist with the setup of evening programs and special events including the following: DJ equipment (provided by external companies), floodlights for sporting events (portable lights transported by truck/mower), and obstacle course equipment for a color run. Camp Support Staff will use mowers, hitches, floodlights, extension cords, obstacle course equipment (cones, ladders, cargo nets, benches), and DJ Equipment (speakers, lights) for event set up. Issue 4: The laundry duties Camp Support Staff will perform consists of the laundering of 50 bath mats, 1 basket of kitchen rags, and 5-10 sets of bedding and towels from the health center each day. ***RFI Response*** The job duties represent the single, distinct position of Camp Support staff and thus will be performed in their entirety by each worker in the position. ***Original Duties*** Camp Support Staff are responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient daily operation of camp facilities, dining services, and shared spaces. Workers perform general maintenance and repair duties such as collecting and disposing of trash, refilling water stations, mowing, trimming, weed-whacking, landscaping, completing small building projects (such as cubbies and bunks), and assisting with setup and movement of supplies and equipment. Workers clean and sanitize bathrooms, cabins, staff housing, dining halls, common areas, and activity spaces; restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies; perform laundry duties; and help maintain a clean, organized camp environment. Workers assist in the kitchen by preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items such as pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, pasta, salads, grilled meats, and vegetables; setting up and maintaining beverage stations; replenishing buffet lines; washing and sanitizing dishes, tables, counters, and dining areas; unloading and organizing food deliveries; labeling and storing food products according to food safety standards; tracking inventory levels; and accommodating special dietary requests. The position requires flexibility, as daily tasks may vary depending on camp needs. Workdays are typically 9–10 hours, with a scheduled daily break, and workers must be able to work independently or as part of a team, follow instructions, manage time effectively, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and reliability.
