***RFI response*** • Prepare food for summer camps and retreat programs under the direction of the chef or kitchen supervisor. • Assist in the preparation of child-friendly meals, including but not limited to: o Breakfast items such as pancakes, eggs, waffles, and pastries. o Lunch and dinner items such as pasta, chicken nuggets, fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and Mexican-style dishes. • Perform basic food preparation tasks including washing, cutting, chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients. • Assist in operating Kitchen equipment such Knifes, Slicer, Grills, Broilers, Kettles, Friers, Flat Tops, TiltSkillets, Ovens and more. • Assist with cooking tasks as instructed, including assembling menu items and monitoring food during preparation. • Plate meals and assist in serving food on the service line. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, service lines, and dining areas. • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. • Dispose of waste and clean kitchen floors, counters, and surfaces after meal service. • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations as required by local, state, and federal guidelines. • Use kitchen equipment safely and properly. • Assist with storing food supplies according to food safety standards. • Perform other related kitchen and food service duties as assigned. ***Original*** Assist with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment such as grills, broilers and deep-fat fryers. Prepare foods such as sandwiches, salads, and dressings according to customer specification. Arrange table settings and fold napkins to restaurant standards. Clear, clean, and sanitize tables. Maintain and sanitize workstations. Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and containers and return to appropriate locations in kitchen. Follow saftey and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure food quality.
