Duties may include: Wash, peel, cut & cook a variety of foods such as fruits, vegetables, or meats according to approved procedures. Weigh/measure ingredients and prepare dips & sauces. Cook/prepare a variety of foods according to customers’ orders such as Burritos, Chimichangas, Churros, Enchiladas, Fajitas, Nachos, Salads, Soups, Tacos, and Quesadillas. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages. Portion and wrap food & drinks, or place directly on plates and trays for service to customers. Store food in designated containers & storage areas to prevent spoilage. Take & record temperature of food & food storage areas such as food warmers, refrigerators & freezers. Receive, rotate & store food supplies, in refrigerators, freezers or cupboards. Clean & sanitize work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. Remove trash, clean kitchen garbage containers & other related Cook activities as per SOC/OES 35-2011 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday - Sunday 9:00AM-10:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Optional, shared furnished housing available to the worker (including: Utilities.) at a monthly housing rate up to $400; if optional housing is agreed upon by the worker, monthly housing rate is to be paid directly to the landlord each month.
