***RFI Response*** Tasks include setting up and breaking down beverage and bar stations; restocking glassware, ice, and non-alcoholic mixers; delivering beer, wine, or pre-prepared alcoholic beverages to guests as directed; clearing empty glassware; and maintaining cleanliness of beverage service areas, including hotel restaurant bar area, banquet hall, outdoor event spaces, and storage rooms. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. This includes routine end-of-shift procedures incidental to food service support, including assist with routine end-of-shift administrative tasks related to food service support, such as returning assigned receipt envelopes, completing required forms, and securing items per established procedures, with all discrepancies reported to supervisory staff. ***Original F.a.2*** Duties: Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Set tables according to type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards. Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware. Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. May prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Requisition all necessary supplies, specifically bottle-for-bottle liquor restock, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required. Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist. Where applicable, follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Requirements: High School Degree or GED Required. No experience. Must be able to be on feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Pre-employment Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Test is required. Rate of Pay: Pay rate varies by Outlet: $12.71 - $15.00 hourly rate; or $3.25 - $6.00 hourly rate + service charge/tips. Employer guarantees hourly rate of pay will not fall below prevailing wage, $15.66 per hour. O/T available paid at $23.49 per hour, unless exempt from O/T under Section 7(i) of the FLSA. Eligible for multiple benefits, including Bus passes. Shifts: Min. 35 hrs/week. 6:00AM – 2:30PM, 10:00AM – 6:30PM, and/or 2:00PM – 10:30PM. Hours vary depending on business need.
