The cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring a high-quality dining experience for guests and supporting the success of the Wineguys Restaurant Group culinary team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform food preparation and ensure ingredients are properly measured, portioned, and stored. Follow all established recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality. Cook and plate menu items from the Sauté and Grill stations according to order specifications. Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of large offsite catering events, ensuring timely and high-quality service. Complete all kitchen opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and equipment checks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas, performing daily cleaning tasks in compliance with food safety standards. Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to promote teamwork and a positive work environment. Exhibit a positive and friendly demeanor toward coworkers and guests.
