Prune and remove trees, using safe and proper methods to climb trees. Climb using rope and harness to climb aloft, properly use rigging gear to prune and remove trees, properly use and maintain, prepare and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts). Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance inspections on equipment. Cable, brace, tie, bolt, stake, and guy trees and branches to provide support. Tie and use the basic tree care knots. Must follow all safety regulations and The Davey Tree Expert, LLC safety guidelines, including but not limited to employer-provided personal protective equipment. Must attend all safety training on first, CPR and aerial rescue procedures.
