Prepare dishes and menu items following standardized recipes and menu specifications, including cutting chopping with knives or food processing equipment; prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, sandwiches, vegetables or desserts; operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and dish machines; receive, label, and store food deliveries according to health and safety guidelines; assist with inventory management, restocking, and rotating ingredients to minimize waste; maintain a neat and clean line and workstation, food storage, and dishwashing areas; wash, sanitize and restock dishes and all cooking materials; follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures, including hand washing, cleaning, and safe food handling practices. Follow food prep and cooking instructions given by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager.
