Retail Produce Asso-Cashier Duties:Running a cash register and credit card terminal, checking out customers and counting change. Interacting with customers. Greeting customers, discussing produce selection, farming practices, produce handling and explaining farm attractions and admissions. Store Opening & Closing Procedures Package, bag, box merchandise and produce Stock & rotate displays, Food Prep, Inside & Outside Work, Price Merchandise, Clean Equipment & Facilities, Selling Produce, food products, merchandise, admissions and Pick-Your-Own, berries, pumpkins & apples. Bakery work- packaging & light baking duties. The workers will be preparing foods for baking goods, cleaning equipment used for baking, mixing tools and bakeware. Cleaning facilities as to sweeping and dusting. Able to lift 50lb when necessary. Discretionary bonus may be given at employers discretion. Wage range based on experience or performance. Work Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm. Wage range $21.03-$21.50 per hr, 40hr wk, O/T $31.55-$32.25 No education required, no experience. Worksite locations: Locations vary in Suffolk County A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H2b workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossings, and other related fees, including those mandated by the Government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
