- Offer description:
***RFI Response*** Corn Dogs: Corn dogs frozen, pre-battered and pre-skewered. Once thawed, the Corn Dogs are placed into the deep fryer, with pre-set temperature and timer. When they are in the fryer for the proper amount of time the basket raises. Using tongs, the worker places the corn dogs into a chafing dish on the front counter under a heat lamp. When a client orders one or more corn dogs, the worker would place the corn dog(s) ordered into a serving boat and hand to the client, who would go to the kiosk to add condiments and pick up any napkins or cutlery required. Fountain Drinks: When an order comes in for a certain flavor of drink, size, ice/light ice/no ice, from a patron, the worker would prepare the proper size, flavor drink and place a plastic lid on the cup. Worker would place the drink into the serving area so that another worker, with direct contact with the patron, is able to provide the drink(s) to the patron, along with the balance of the order. Most mobile amusement rides are designed to be assembled and disassembled in hours with manual labor and simple tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets, a variety of wrenches and ratchets. When heavy lifting is required, rides would have built in hydraulics for raising and lowering platforms, etc., so that additional equipment is not required. Once ride is positioned by a supervisor, workers would unload by hand, the various parts of the ride that must be assembled. Platforms and centerpieces would be positioned using the built-in hydraulic lifts and winches. Support bars and passenger conveyances would be positioned, and attached as per manufacturer instructions. Safety fence and signage, would be downloaded by hand and placed into position by hand. ***Original F.a.2*** a variety of duties at traveling carnival, assembling, disassembling & operating equipment (amusement rides, game and/or food concessions) May sell tickets & collect fees from customers; provide information about the facilities, rules and regulations; direct patrons to rides, seats or attractions; monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures; provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides; clean rides, booths, facilities or grounds; inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts; fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices; announce or describe amusement attractions to patrons to entice customers to games and/or other entertainment; and sell and serve refreshments to customers.
