Bar Managers will be responsible for ensuring bar stations are properly stocked and supplied with necessary bar products including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, napkins, garnishments, and other necessary bar products at the employer’s property. Bar Managers will be responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food and beverage service, assisting in developing beverage menus for guests and various operating procedures including interacting with vendors to place purchase orders for bar products and supplies, monitoring opening and closing bar procedures, assuring bar operations are legally compliant, and maintaining Club protocol to reduce potential theft from employees or customers. Additionally, Bar Managers will research, create and evaluate bar menus, and will perform various Bartender duties including mixing and serving drinks to members and guests in all areas of the club, cleaning glasses and bar equipment, taking and placing guest orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring the bar and work areas are clean, and setting up and tearing down bar areas for banquet events, and assisting with other front of house duties as may be requested by management such as developing standard operating procedures to ensure all bars are set up and closed down properly and operating efficiently, serve as Manager on duty, answer phones in the bar area, and greet and seat guests when Dining Room Manager is unavailable. Bar Managers may also perform personnel actions, such as assisting with recruiting staff members and training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating bar personnel. May supervise up to three (3) Bartenders, and up to ten (10) Food and Beverage Servers. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am to 5:00pm, 3:00pm to 10:00pm, and 5:00pm to 12:00am. Shift hours may vary.
