- Offer description:
The worker will support Wild Orchard, Inc., a Regenerative Organic Certified tea company, in executing consumer-facing promotional events, festivals, and educational activations across the United States, Canada, and South Korea. The position is event-based and focused on direct engagement with attendees through live product demonstrations, sampling, and experiential marketing activities that promote awareness of regenerative organic agriculture and Wild Orchard’s mission. Product Demonstration & Sampling: The worker will prepare and serve brewed tea samples, conduct live demonstrations of traditional and modern tea-making methods, and introduce attendees to Wild Orchard’s premium teas including matcha, herbal blends, and specialty brews. Demonstrations will highlight flavor, preparation techniques, and cultural traditions, with the purpose of creating consumer interest in Wild Orchard’s products. Consumer Engagement & Education: The worker will actively engage with attendees, answering questions about tea, regenerative organic farming, and the environmental benefits of sustainability practices. They will distribute samples, brochures, and other educational and promotional materials, while explaining product qualities in clear and approachable terms. A key duty is ensuring that consumers understand Wild Orchard’s role as the world’s first tea company certified under the Regenerative Organic Certification program, with emphasis on health and wellness of both people and the planet, biodiversity, volcanic soil farming, and organic cultivation. Public Outreach & Bilingual Liaison: Because of Wild Orchard’s international presence, the worker will perform bilingual engagement with English- and Korean-speaking consumers. This includes providing basic interpretation during events, helping Korean-speaking attendees understand product demonstrations. These duties are supportive of consumer outreach and ensure inclusivity for diverse audiences. Event Setup, Support, & Logistics: The worker will assist in preparing festival and trade show booths, setting up displays, arranging signage, and ensuring that sampling areas remain clean and organized. Additional support tasks include stocking products, tracking simple inventory during events, and coordinating printed materials. The worker will also assist in booth breakdown and cleanup once events conclude. These duties are primarily physical and service-oriented, supporting the success of live demonstrations. Media Support (Supplementary): As a supportive duty, the worker may capture photos, short video clips, and testimonials during events for use in social media and basic outreach. This task is limited to documenting live consumer interaction and extending the reach of in-person demonstrations. The role does not include technical editing, post-production, or responsibilities aligned with professional film and video editors. The position centers on direct consumer interaction, live product demonstrations, and distribution of promotional materials, as described under SOC 41-9011 Demonstrators and Product Promoters. Duties are hands-on and focused on engaging festival and event attendees, encouraging sampling, explaining product features, and distributing educational content. While some supportive bilingual and media duties exist, these are secondary and intended only to enhance outreach. The role does not involve advanced analytical work, strategic marketing planning, or technical film production.
