Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain resort in a clean and orderly manner. Clean and dust guest rooms and guest common areas; remove, sort, fold, carry and replace guest linens and towels, make beds, replenish supplies in guest rooms. Sweep, mop, and vacuum; empty wastebaskets in guest rooms. Clean in-room kitchens including wash/dry dishes by hand and load/unload dishwasher. Keep housecleaning storage areas and equipment (mops, brooms, vacuums, etc.) clean and tidy. Maintain cleaning supplies in housekeeping cart/vehicle in a clean and organized fashion. May use a company vehicle and/or golf cart within the resort grounds. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift time 8am-4:30pm. Shift includes 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift time may vary with occupancy. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $21.45 per hour.
