Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain accommodation rental units in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, removing and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, in-room kitchens and bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Dust and polish furniture. Clean floors using a broom or mop. Clean mirrors and windows that can be reached by standing on the ground. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, workdays vary Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift time 8am-5pm. Shift time includes 1-hour unpaid break time. Workdays and shift times may vary with events and occupancy. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. The employer will provide WIFI and a $35/month stipend for employees to utilize their smart phone during the course of business. Overtime may be available, only when approved by Management. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $24.05 per hour. The employer will provide daily transportation from employee housing to the main worksites in Avon to and from all worksite locations.
