***RFI Response*** The type of materials that will be used to install the safety fence: Fence posts, zip ties, safety fence and tie wires. The type of safety fence that will be installed: 4’ plastic orange fencing The type of worksite the task will take place in: Construction sites where construction is taking place, such as building site, excavation sites and demolition sites. The type of skilled workers the employee will assist: The laborers will be assisting construction workers, such as demolition workers and carpenters, and equipment operators. The equipment operators do not install fencing and required the assistance of the laborers to help prepare the job site and protect all employees and general public from the work zones. The type of assistance the employee will provide these skill workers with: The laborers will install orange protective fencing by laying out fence posts and install fence using hand pounders. Fencing will be attached to post using wire and zip ties. Repair fence during project duration if damaged. Remove fencing at completion of project by cutting wire with snippers and rolling up fence and posts by hand. ***Original Duties*** Lift and move materials by hand. Pick up trash, place cones, install safety fence and caution tape around work sites; Use hand tools to sweep work sites, assist skilled workers on job site.
