Line cook candidates will ideally possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Great attention to detail, cleanliness, organization, and ‘team’ mentality is a requirement. • Sandwiches: baking bread, using deli slicer, making sandwiches, portioning produce & deli items, cutting vegetables, assembling salads. • Fryer/Grill: identifying cook temperatures, making multiple orders at once. assembling meals. Cutting fish, prepping station with produce & meats. Cleaning and changing fryer oil. • Pizza: Hand toss & stretch pizzas. assembling pizzas. Making pizza sauce. Responsibilities include: • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, using deli slicer, or preparing sauces) • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff • Answer, report and follow kitchen managers instructions • Clean up station and take care of leftover food • Stock inventory appropriately • Carry & lift kitchen inventory up & down stairs – some bending through doorways required • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Dishwashing in 3 bay link, nightly cleaning, sweeping & mopping. Taking trash out to bins. Taking trash to Dump off site.
